Madama Butterfly at Fundació Òpera Catalunya
in 2023
After the successful production of Puccini's Tosca in 2021 Sergi Roca Bru will conduct again at the Fundació Òpera Catalunya. Premiere is taking place on February the 15th at Teatre "La Faràndula" in Sabadell. The tour includes 14 performances in 12 catalan cities such as Barcelona, LLeida, Tarragona, Manresa, Girona and Reus.
Double Verdi Debut
Within two weeks Sergi Roca Bru has made his debuts of Verdi's late masterpieces, "Aida" and "Otello" ath the Opera Kiel.
The cast included outsanding international artists such as Andeka Gorrotxategi (Otello), Antonio Palombi (Radmès), Agnieska Hauzer (Aida and Desdemona), Dario Solari (Jago and Amonasro) and Maria Gulik (Amneris).


Debut at Opera Lübeck with premiere of
"The Jungle Book"
Children Opera by Giovanni Sollima and Pier Francesco Maestrini with Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera, Shere-Khan combining real size puppets and synchron hilairous animations by Joshua Held.
Jump in with Kieler Philharmoniker in a symphonic concert of "con Spirito" series
Sergi Roca Bru jumped in for Kiel Chief Conductor Benjamin Reiners who was in quaratine due to Covid19. Bass tromonist Lisa Hochwimmer was the soloist of this concert featuring music by Gershwin, Beethoven, Lebedev, Tchaikovsky, Dukas, Nino Rota and Christophoer Brubeck.
The concert celebrated the CD-Release "Deep Hights". In it Hochwimmer's plays repertoire for bass trombone together with Kieler Philharmoniker under Benjamin Reiners


Debut with Orquesta Filarmónica de
Gran Canaria
Sergi Roca Bru recently made his debut with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria conducting four concerts featuring Beethoven's incidental music to "Egmont"
