Debut in Slovakia:
Nabucco in National Theater Košice
In September 2024 Roca Bru is taking over the acclaimed production of Verdi's first masterpiece in the slovak city of Košice, wich has been running since 2011. The National Theater celebrates this year its 100th anniversary.

Nabucco and Tosca at Òpera Catalunya
With these two major masterpieces Roca Bru returns to Fundació Òpera a Catalunya conducting 19 performances in its 41st operatic season. The main roles being played by renowned singers such as Carmen Solís, Maribel Ortega, Luis Cansino, Enrique Ferrer and Alejandro Baliñas, both productions will tour around Catalonia, starting in Sabadell and performing in Barcelona at the Palau de la Música Catalana.

Mendelssohn's Italian symphony
In the last concert of the symphonic series of the Sinfonieorchester des Schleswig-Holsteinischen Landestheater the program leads us to southern Europe with Geroges Bizet's L'arlésienne and Felix Mendelssohn's 4th symphony - italian.
Furthermore, tubas will be honoured as German instrument of the year with the Grand Concert 4 tubas, for tuba quartet and orchestra by the american composer John Stevens.
2nd Prize at the
Orvieto International Opera Conducting Competition "Luigi Mancinelli"
After three rounds rehearsing and conducting diverse scenes from Verdi's Un ballo in maschera with orchestra and soloists, the jury awarded Roca Bru with the 2nd prize exaequo and a special prize: an engagement at the opera Košice in Slovakia. The first prize was deserted. Nearly 50 conductors of all over the world participated at the 11th edition of the competition, that ended with a concert conducted by the finalists.
